Cape Town 5 Night City Tour

Cape Town is our home town. Voted one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it is a melting pot of cultures, traditions and people. It is also a hotspot of natural beauty. Few places in the world can boast access to mountains, sea, food culture and city life within 20 minutes of the city center.

Whether this is an add-on to your existing Southern Africa holiday or you're flying in exclusively to see what all the fuss is about when it comes to Cape Town - here's an itinerary to whet your appetite.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Start off your day with a visit to Table Mountain, one of the official new Seven Wonders of the Natural World. The top of Table Mountain offers spectacular views in all directions and gives you a bird's eye view of the city, starting from the bottom where you take the revolving cable car station. *Please note that this activity is weather permitting.

On your first evening, you'll have dinner at a restuarant hidden in what was formerly an underground storage area in the historic Hout Street - this eating place is an inner-city gem. The European flair and cellar setting makes it feel as though one has discovered a secret. Made for sharing, the tapas menu is delicious to read and will make you over-order, so come hungry and sample all that there is to enjoy

On this tour, he shares with you the interesting history of Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula and the perspective of South Africa in the current time. A drive along dramatic coastal roads towards the mythical Cape of Good Hope, exploring the southernmost tip of the Cape Peninsula with its breathtaking views, dramatic cliff sides and turbulent waters.

Your tour will take you to the small town of Kalk Bay, where you will have a lovely lunch by the sea. Day 3

Kirstenbosch Nature Day

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain. Spend the day enjoying this beauty.

Have afternoon tea at the Kirstenbosch Tea Room, which has a comprehensive menu which includes food for all tastes, traditional and adventurous, the health conscious and vegetarians. The Tea Room (we feel) produces the freshest scones, breads, cakes, cinnamon butter buns and much more throughout the day. This popular venue has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

In the evening enjoy dinner at a stylish restaurant in Bree Street, where a Victorian building has been transformed into a stellar restaurant with historic rustic walls, comforting custom-made wooden furniture, fresh florals and contemporary soft lighting. Their delightful interior is the perfect external representation of the menu, both overflowing with quality.
